Colorize your image with Hue Saturation Layer

How to achieve one-colored image like these and get the sephia tone in Adobe Photoshop:


1. Open your image and crop.

Duplicate your image and set it to screen. If the image is too bright, you can lower the opacity of this layer or just skip this step altogether.

Duplicate the image again, this time set it to overlay. Adjust the opacity, depending on how dark you want your image to be. Just play around with the opacity setting.

Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation. A small window will appear, at the bottom right of the window, there's an option that says 'Colorize', select this option. And follow one of the settings below to achieve the coloring you want:


Hue: 247
Saturation: 14
Lightness: 0


Hue: 360
Saturation: 14
Lightness: 0


Hue: 193
Saturation: 14
Lightness: 0


Hue: 38
Saturation: 20
Lightness: 0

And you can always play with the Hue and Saturation settings to create other image color.
